6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Math Contest Newsletter for Spring, 2000

6th Grade: March 6, 2001 -OR- March 13, 2001
Algebra Course 1: April 16, 2001 or later
4th & 5th Grade: April 16, 2001 or later

Certificates You may link to the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade results from http://www.mathleague.com/reports/leagues.htm. The 5 Certificates of Merit (for 1st place students on each grade) that came with the contests will enable all students tied for 1st place to receive a certificate. For more certificates (for 1st place ties), send a self-addressed stamped (2 stamps needed!) envelope large enough to hold certificates to: Certificates, P.O. Box 2117, Miller Place, NY 11764-8896. (Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.)

Plaques On each contest, plaques for the two highest scoring schools and students (in the entire League), and the regional highest scoring schools, are mailed after engraving (please be patient). Student plaques are sent to the advisor. To ask about plaques write to: Math Plaques, P.O. Box 1090, Manhasset, NY 11030-8090. Include your name, grade, school and complete school mailing address. (Plaque winners are starred in the score report booklet.)
