Homeschool Contests |

Each
year The Math League sponsors contests for grades 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Algebra Course
1, and High School. By popular demand, Math League's Math Contests are now available for homeschoolers. These are the same contests used by schools, in a non-competitive format for the home. Whether you give the contest with a time limit, or let homeschoolers work them at their own pace, you choose which is best for your homeschooler. Every contest has questions from different areas of mathematics. The goal is to encourage student interest and confidence in mathematics through solving worthwhile problems. Many students first develop an interest in mathematics through problem-solving activities such as these contests. You may also wish to consider Math League's Contest Problem Books and Educational Math Software for other great homeschool math resources, and our free Internet Help Facility for Grades 4-8 provides fast on-line math help, complete with explanations and examples. |
